I’m still here
I’ve been busy, honest! We’ve sold a house, bought a house and in a couple of weeks we will shift in to our new home – YAY!! So looking forward to shifting to this new house! It needs some bits and pieces doing to it to put our own personal touch on it but super excited about moving in.
Weight-wise…. believe it or not I’ve NOT stepped on the scales for weeks. My jeans fit snugly at the moment – not tight but not as loose as they were in summer so I will be weighing in one of these mornings soon. The problem I have is I get up, get dressed and start my morning coffee then think darn I was going to weigh…
So I’m more focused on how my clothes fit and that means I do need to be careful with my eating. I want to stay positive though and will focus on “eating clean”. That is what I am going to call it. Plenty of veges and lean meat. Very minimal processed food.
I am walking heaps! Between 2 and 3 hours a day. I track my activity with my FitBit Flex. It is awesome – it buzzes on my wrist once I’ve attained my target of 10,000 steps which I do minimum every day which is about 8km of walking. I’ve been going to the Waiatarua Reserve and doing at least 3 laps each day (each lap is 2.5km) Millie loves it (my dog). It is a big off-leash dog park and it is buzzing with people walking and running.
Big focus at the moment is not getting down about having snugly fitting jeans. I know in a matter of weeks I can turn that around and my focus is on wearing my lovely Esprit black dress and my merino black dress from ice breaker and my slim fitting diesel jeans. I’ve been reading blogs and I know the secrets to getting success, I just need to put it into practice.
